198. जो कोई, किसी अस्पताल, सार्वजनिक या निजी, चाहे वह केंद्रीय सरकार, राज्य सरकार, स्थानीय निकायों या किसी अन्य व्यक्ति द्वारा चलाया जाता हो, का प्रभारी होते हुए, भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता, 2023 की धारा 449 के प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन करता है, उसे एक वर्ष तक की अवधि के कारावास या जुर्माने या दोनों से दंडित किया जाएगा।
लोक सेवकों द्वारा या उनसे संबंधित अपराधों के संबंध में।

198. Whoever, being in charge of a hospital, public or private, whether run by the Central Government, the State Government, local bodies or any other person, contravenes the provisions of section 449 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine or with both.
