अध्याय XV
294. जो कोई, दूसरों को क्षोभ पहुँचाने के लिए,-
सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य, सुरक्षा, सुविधा, शालीनता और
नैतिकता को प्रभावित करने वाले अपराध।
294. अश्लील कृत्य और गाने।
(क) किसी सार्वजनिक स्थान पर कोई अश्लील कृत्य करेगा; या
(ख) किसी सार्वजनिक स्थान पर या उसके निकट कोई अश्लील गीत, गाथा या शब्द गाएगा, सुनाएगा या बोलेगा,
उसे किसी भांति के कारावास से, जिसकी अवधि तीन मास तक की हो सकेगी, या जुर्माने से, जो एक हजार रुपए तक का हो सकेगा, या दोनों से, दण्डित किया जाएगा।

294. Whoever, to the annoyance of others,-
Of Offences Affecting the Public Health, Safety,
Convenience, Decency, and Morals.
294. Obscene acts and songs.
(a) does any obscene act in any public place; or
(b) sings, recites or utters any obscene song, ballad or words, in or near any public place,
shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.
